This analysis is a summary of 16 experiments that examined the effect during examination of holding a several textures. The summary statistic of .510 , with a p-value of 0 (95% CI=.280,.741) suggests a medium and significant effect. In other words, based on this study students holding a hard ball score better than those holding a soft ball on the tests, using all learning exercises. An analysis of the moderator shows that learning(decoding) is a significant at .382. Encoding shows a slight effect size .189, examined separately (encoding/learning). Ultimately I found that we don’t have a complete story and the model without the moderator is the better predictor of higher scores.
